Archivist’s Pick: The Family and the Fish
Here’s this month’s piece from the Drucker Institute’s archivist, Bridget Lawlor. By drawing lessons from the vast treasure trove of papers and other objects that are collected in Peter Drucker’s archives, Bridget is giving new life to decades-old material.
As we continue to celebrate this holiday season, we would like to share a present that Peter Drucker received one year for Christmas.
Drucker’s youngest daughter, Joan, drew this picture when she was a little girl. It depicts the whole family: Peter and his wife, Doris, and all of their children: Joan, Vincent, Cecily and Kathleen. Joan also threw in a fish, for luck.
