GLOBAL DRUCKER FORUM RECEIVES WIDESPREAD COVERAGE
The fifth annual Global Drucker Forum, held last month in Vienna, has been cited by several major publications.
Management columnist Andrew Hill of the Financial Times covered the Forum, which carried the theme “Managing Complexity,” in a Nov. 18 piececalled “End of the Imperial Corporate Leader.” The Economist wrote about the event in its Nov. 23 Schumpeter column, under the headline “It’s Complicated.”
In addition, Forbes contributor Steve Denning, who spoke at the Forum, wrote about the gathering in his Nov. 18 essay, “A New Center of Gravity for Management?”. And Rick Wartzman, the executive director of the Drucker Institute, devoted his Nov. 20 online column for Time magazine, “How Companies Can Survive the ‘Snarkpocalypse,’” to the Forum.
The Global Drucker Forum is an annual event organized by the Peter Drucker Society Europe, a nonprofit association affiliated with the Drucker Institute. As a leading management conference, the Forum brings together top executives and noted scholars to discuss some of the most pressing issues of the day. The dialogue is informed and animated by the writing and spirit of the late Peter F. Drucker.
