‘Drucker Apps’ 9/11/09: Management As a Liberal Art

This installment of Drucker Apps was inspired by the start of the school year, in which the teaching of subjects such as Shakespeare strike some as not terribly relevant or practical in today’s fast-paced world.  Drucker, however, saw great value in studying the humanities. As he observed, “Management…deals with people, their values, their growth and development—and this makes it a humanity.”  This edition of Drucker Apps includes:
