A Prophet for a New Workplace
Not a day goes by when some publication, somewhere in the world, doesn’t quote Peter Drucker. We read all of these articles with interest, but rarely flag any on the Drucker Exchange. A piece in Saturday’s New York Times by Quentin Hardy, on how technology is changing the way we work, merits an exception because it so ably connects the dots between Drucker’s timeless thinking and what’s happening today (just as we seek to do here at the Dx).
“While Mr. Drucker didn’t have all the answers,” Hardy wrote, “his ideas about the governing principles of the new era offer some intriguing clues about which of the new software offerings have the best chances and what business schools should be, but aren’t, teaching.” Read the full piece here.
