The Envelopes, Please

Rick Wartzman

In his latest column for Bloomberg Businessweek online, Drucker Institute Executive Director Rick Wartzman marks the end of 2011 by handing out a set of Peter Drucker Achievement Awards.

“Every winner taught us something about running an organization in 2011 (whether he intended to or not),” Wartzman writes.

Among them: Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, who took the “Looking Toward the Long Term Laurel”; the country’s credit unions, which were given the “Service With the Mostest Citation”; and Jon Corzine, the former CEO of MF Global Holdings, who claimed the “Must Have Missed It Medallion.”
